Features
Constructed from quality, non-corrosive materials.
Our machines have been designed to assure a long service life and require minimal maintenance.
They feature a stationary vertical evaporator which means no leaking refrigerant seals. They are insulated with polyurethane to restrict heat transfer from working parts and eliminate water penetration.
Stainless steel external cladding gives added protection in a myriad of environments.
Capacity to suit your needs
Fresh Water Flakers:
500kg to 60 tonne per 24 hour capacity. We offer a 10 year warranty on fresh water evaporators, which are constructed of hardened chrome steel. (Stainless steel is optional in this range)
Land-based Sea Water Flaker:
1 to 60 tonne per 24 hour capacity. Our seawater flakers use a stainless steel or aluminium alloy evaporator.
Marine On-board Sea Water Flaker:
1 to 7.5 tonne per 24 hour capacity. Our on-board marine flakers use a stainless steel or aluminium alloy evaporator.
Easy, consistent functionality.
Discover constant ice production with no defrost cycles. You will also save water and overfilling - photoelectric eyes within the machine automatically switch off ice making if storage containers reach capacity.
Unique Gearbox and Pump Features
A float switch will protect your pump from running dry, and extend its life. Flake ice machines feature automatic salt feeding pulsing pumps, with a 20L container for water softening.
We offer a 12 month warranty on the gearbox and pumps within our Flake Ice machines
Optional Extras
Depending on your specific requirements and where it will be located, we can supply your machine with weatherproof enclosures for further protection.
Suitability
Flake Ice machines are suitable for refrigerant R404A, R22 and R717 and machines are supplied for direct expansion, flooded or liquid recirculation.
